My magic history began at age 5.  It was December and a store in downtown Louisville, Kentucky had a display of Magic Sets and a Magician demonstrating the tricks within.  The Magician placed a Poppa and Momma Rabbit made of sponge into my hand with direction to hold them tightly.  When he said to open my hand, imagine my surprise to find not only Poppa and Momma but many Baby Bunnies as well!  Thus the course was set for what has been throughout a personally rewarding life in magic.  

I have been blessed by many friendships of Professional and Amateur Magicians the world over for which I am eternally grateful and have been a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) since 1973 and a member of the Society of American Magicians (SAM) since 1984 as well as other affiliations.  Professionally for well over 35 years, I have spent countless hours and traveled great distances rooting out and uncovering magic of all types.   The benefactor of all these efforts is you my dear reader, the Magic Enthusiast, Performer or Collector.

The stories connected with the pursuit could be compiled into a book so numerous are the events and the reader would feel it were fiction for some of the unbelievable happenings along the way.  Even with all the items I have either owned, acquired for others or just having the opportunity of seeing in someone’s collection I still get a thrill when my eyes fall upon something I’ve not seen before. Living it the way I have and continuing on steadfast with all the pains and pleasures associated, I love what I do.
